The Lion Dance, or múa lân in Vietnamese, is a traditional dance which incorporates martial arts and ancient tradition. Lion dancing is used to ward away demonic spirits, bring in good fortune, and celebrate prosperity and luck. It is often performed for weddings, New Year’s, and festivals. This year our performance will be celebrating the Lunar New Year (or Tết) with the lion, a monk, surprises, festive music, and magic!
